Iranian short film ‘Amphetamine’ has been set to be screened at the 2nd edition of the San Mauro Film Festival in Italy.
Directed by Saman Akbari, ‘Amphetamine’ is to attend the competition section of the Italian event.
‘Amphetamine’, Akbari's first professional experience, is expected to shine at the film festival.
The director tries to depict a surreal world in his work. “A man goes back to his childhood world every night after consuming amphetamine,” a short synopsis of the flick read.
Founded in 2017, the San Mauro Film Festival is an international film festival that accepts films of any lenght or genre. Films from any country and in any language are accepted, but they must be subtitled in English or Italian.
The 2nd edition of the San Mauro Film Festival is slated to be held on May 23-25, 2018, in Turin, Italy.
